Beyond the Black Line is a new swimming training squad residing at Brisbane’s historic Valley Pool and invites swimmers of all abilities.

 

Through Beyond the Black Line, Brendan Capell and other former elite level swimmers share their passion, knowledge and experience for the sport with the swimming community.

 

Their goal is to keep fit, improve stroke technique or compete in the pool, open water or triathlons. 

Beyond the Black Line becomes more than just a swimming training program but a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle offering that the water lovers of Brisbane can share. To demonstrate this and as a long term youth ambassador of the Black Dog Institute (BDI), Brendan will be donating 50 cents of each and every session fee to the Black Dog Institute’s “Exercise Your Mood” Campaign which is aimed at promoting awareness of the significant benefits that exercise has on wellbeing and alleviating the symptoms of depression.
